Prayer is the engine room of the church. Without it we will just drift!
Meeting together for prayer is currently limited by Government restrictions because of the coronavirus situation.
Although we might be separated physically, we can still pray at home and be united in spirit. Some groups are arranging to meet virtually via Zoom.
In 2020 the BU organised prayer broadcasts every Wednesday evening at 7pm. See recordings here.
Pre-Covid, the Leadership team met for prayer most Sunday mornings before the service. They now meet via Zoom on Monday evenings. The first Monday in the month is open to all in the church.
Prayer for the Community
Specifically for the traders in Crowthorne High Street, this initiative started October 2019, but was suspended after lockdown in March 2020. A couple of CBC members visited traders in the High Street, chatting to owners and staff and handing out prayer cards so that the church can pray for them. This is starting up again from June, with visits on some Wednesday and Saturday mornings and a monthly Sunday afternoon prayer time. Further details in due course.
