Families and Children
Children and families are very welcome at Crowthorne Baptist Church!

On Sundays we usually start our service with a time of all-age worship, lasting about half an hour. After this the children go to their own group. The group caters for primary school children and there is a crèche for babies and toddlers. All sorts of activities take place: games, crafts, Bible stories, music, etc., and refreshments are provided. The aim is to have fun whilst learning more about God. Parents of babies and toddlers are welcome to join the group or stay in the service with their children.
Jesus & Chocolate is our group for young people in school years 7 and upwards. They enjoy a variety of activities on Sunday mornings.
When there are five Sundays in the month, the 5th Sunday is an All-Age service in the church.

SHINE!
SHINE is an informal service for families. During this time all ages play games together, do crafts, such as rock painting and making models of pigs, sing songs and have time to share and learn about how to 'shine' in our everyday lives. We have held these inside our Church as well as outside in a woodland environment and on the Morgan Rec in summer. Several times during the year we have held special "Sparkle & Shine" sessions on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12:15pm. These have proved very popular.
Shine is now back in the Hub on the 2nd Sunday each month from 3 to 4:30pm with time for craft, play and reflection. Refreshments (cake!) will be provided.
