Our Church Family

We anticipate that building work for our New Heart project will start early in 2020, which is very exciting!  This means that we will have to move off site.  Alternative venues have been arranged for all our existing activities, so watch this space for more details when dates are confirmed.

HopeZone and Zone6 youth drop-in sessions have moved to Crowthorne Methodist Church as of Monday 4th Nov.

Welcome to the CBC website! We hope that you will be able to find out all the information about us that you need. Simply click on any of the relevant links to find out more. If you need any further information, you can contact us by phone, email or in person.

We are currently in a Pastoral Vacancy without a Minister, but our services and activities are continuing as usual. If you have any questions about the Christian Faith or the church, please email Philip (our Administrator) or use the contact form on the website.

We look forward to meeting you!

Our Mission

'To build a Christ-centred community'

We aim to base everything that we are and do on that vision, which we have broken down into five areas:

Teaching God's word,

Telling others about Jesus,

Treating through pastoral care,

Transforming lives through God's Holy Spirit and

Togetherness, regularly meeting with one another on Sundays, in small groups and socially.

New Heart

Our Vision is to provide a lively church and community resource on the High Street - a New Heart for Crowthorne. Our existing buildings do not meet these needs so we are now close to redeveloping our site.

We're keen to ensure that the facilities will be a real asset for everyone:

- the church on Sunday and through the week

- existing users of our buildings including The Ark, Good Neighbours, etc.

- new ways to help and serve the community.

Services are held every Sunday at 10.30am.

On Sundays we usually start our service with a time of all-age worship, lasting about half an hour. After this the children go to their own group, "Time Out", in our hall.

The 5th Sunday in months when it occurs is an All-Age service in the church.

All are welcome after the service to join us for tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat!

Communion is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

Who are we?

We are a group of ordinary people who love Jesus and are learning together what it means to follow Him in our world today.

Our services have an informal, "family-gathering" atmosphere which includes a children's slot, and a mixture of hymns and modern songs along with Bible based preaching and teaching. We have various activities going on during the week too, and you can find out about them by exploring any of the links on the site.

Of course, it goes without saying that we would love to see you at any of our services or activities.
