Coronavirus COVID-19

At CBC we are following Government and Baptist Union advice.  The BU website has useful resources, including things for prayer and Bible study.

We are aware that we are in quite an unsettling season as a country and the world. Some of us are having to self isolate or some may feel they need to stay home more.  If you are struggling with anything and would appreciate prayer then feel free to email us at this address: info@crowthornebaptistchurch.onmicrosoft.com

It might be to do with the Coronavirus or something totally unrelated.  All you share will, of course, be in confidence and we promise not to bombard you with further emails!

As a church we are praying for Crowthorne, but sometimes a personal prayer can be a huge comfort and help.

Welcome to the CBC website! We hope that you will be able to find out all the information about us that you need.

We have been without a Minister since January 2018.  On 14th September Rev. Kevin Mills accepted our call to become our new Pastor and will arrive in due course.  In the meantime, our recorded services are continuing as usual. If you have any questions about the Christian Faith or the church, please email Philip (our Administrator) or use the contact form on the website.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Our Mission

'To build a Christ-centred community'

We aim to base everything that we are and do on that vision, which we have broken down into five areas:

Teaching God's word,

Telling others about Jesus,

Treating through pastoral care,

Transforming lives through God's Holy Spirit and

Togetherness, regularly meeting with one another on Sundays, in small groups and socially.

New Heart

Our Vision is to provide a lively church and community resource on the High Street - a New Heart for Crowthorne. Our existing buildings do not meet these needs so we are now redevelopinging our site.

We're keen to ensure that the facilities will be a real asset for everyone:

- the church on Sunday and through the week

- existing users of our buildings including The Ark, Good Neighbours, etc.

- new ways to help and serve the community.

Services are held every Sunday at 10.30am.

On Sundays we usually start our service with a time of all-age worship, lasting about half an hour. After this the children go to their own groups.

The 5th Sunday in months when it occurs is an All-Age service in the church.

All are welcome after the service to join us for tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat!

Communion is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

Who are we?

We are a group of ordinary people who love Jesus and are learning together what it means to follow Him in our world today.

Our services have an informal, "family-gathering" atmosphere which includes a children's slot, and a mixture of hymns and modern songs along with Bible based preaching and teaching. We have various activities going on during the week too, and you can find out about them by exploring any of the links on the site.

Of course, it goes without saying that we would love to see you at any of our services or activities.

We are trying to continue to upload sermons during our relocation but please bear with us with the quality whilst we try to find a solution.
